An emphasis on education

AMT strongly advocates lifelong learning as part of a member’s personal and professional growth, and in fact requires its newer members to acquire a specific number of continuing education credits in order to maintain certification. AMT encourages its members to grow professionally and be recognized as a leader in the community by participating in state and national committees and boards, taking advantage of scholarship programs, helping their institution celebrate a national allied health specialty week, and recognizing peers through various national and regional awards. Keeping current

AMT members keep current in their field not just through continuing education, but also through AMT Events which features news and commentary of interest to the profession, and the AMT website, which houses the latest legislative updates and other breaking industry news.
