AMT offers one of the most comprehensive certification programs available today. The entire set of examination-based certification programs is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), the accrediting arm of the National Organization of Competency Assurance (NOCA).
Schools new to the process...who are exploring certification programs for their students may contact Bobby Stewart, MT, the AMT National School Liaison. Bobby is very knowledgeable in the area of certification and accreditation. He has served AMT in numerous capacities for many years.
During his tenure as President of AMT, he initiated an outreach program to the career colleges, universities, technical schools and community colleges in an effort to promote the many advantages of certification and to identify how AMT can assist schools to better prepare their students to enter the healthcare field.
