President's Message
Welcome to the North Carolina State Society (NCSSAMT) web site. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about our state society.
We have approximately 700 members in our state, most of whom are MTs MLTs, RMAs, and RPTs. Our award winning newsletter, The Tarheel Tech is published twice a year and features state society news. We meet each spring with our sister organization, the North Carolina Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (NCSCLS) and South Carolina AMT, CLS, and others. Our meeting in the spring is named the "Carolinas Clinical Connection" and is usually sponsored by 8 to 10 organizations. In the fall we meet jointly with NCSCLS for the "Fall Focus". Our meetings have presentations geared toward meeting the educational needs of all our members and we encourage every member to come and join us. We are very proud of our organization and thank you for visiting our website. We invite you to become an active member of one of the best State Societies of AMT.
