Candidates seeking certification as an Allied Health Instructor (AHI) must satisfy the following requirements:
1. The applicant shall be of good moral character.
2. Applicant must fulfill option A or B of the following educational requirements.
A. Applicant shall be a graduate of an accredited school or course of study in their discipline.
Under this category applicant shall provide evidence of at least two (2) years of teaching experience in the past five (5) years.
B. Applicant holds professional certification in his or her field of instruction from a nationally recognized certification organization.
Under this category, the instructor shall provide evidence of at least three (3) years of teaching experience in the past five (5) years.
3. Applicant shall submit three professionals letters of recommendation (letters should establish length of teaching experience.)
4. Applicant shall provide certified copies of transcripts of education attainment, high school diploma, certificates of attainment and/or proof of highest degree earned (see education requirements). |
