AMT Certification Exam Fees are Now Approved for Veterans Administration Reimbursement
July 9, 2001. American Medical Technologists is now approved by the Veterans Administration (VA), under the GI Bill, for fee reimbursement for its allied healthcare certification exams, including Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Medical Assistants, Dental Assistants, Office Laboratory Technicians, and Phlebotomy Technicians. All military and veterans eligible for benefits under the Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB), the Veterans Education Assistance Program (VEAP) or the Dependents Educational Assistance (DEA) Program, can now receive full reimbursement for AMT certification exam fees from the Veterans Administration. The fee refund is for exams taken on or after March 1, 2001.
